King Edward VIII’s shocking letter has emerged in which he has referred the Australian Aborigines as “the lowest known form of human beings”.
The 22-page letter has suggested that he was having a miserable time during an eight-day diplomatic visit to the Caribbean island, which was part of his world tour in 1920, as he described the tropical paradise as a ‘bum place’, and also wrote about how badly he was missing Freddie, his mistress, the Mirror reported.
Edward VIII had always been considered as one of UK’s most controversial monarchs despite of his short reign of 326 days, and his letter is now being sold by a private collector at an auction with a pre-sale estimate of 1,200 pounds. (ANI)
