Disaster Management Initiatives ad Convergence Society (DMICS) has completed 10 years of its existence this year. On this occasion, DMICS is organizing a series of events in order to raise awareness among various stakeholders and empower the relevant sectors with committed action plans.
DMICS is organizing a Round Table on Media and Disaster Management on August 11, from 10 AM to 1 PM, at DMICS conference hall, Vijaynagar Colony here. The round table is expected to bring experts in various types of media and a hoard of practitioners.
Allam Narayana, Chairman, Press Academy, Government of Telangana, will preside over the proceedings and Prof SARPV Chaturvedi, Managing Trustee, Sri Ramanuja Mission Trust will deliver key note address. The event would be attended by Dr G Venkat Ram Reddy, Special Commissioner, Disaster Management, Government of Telangana, B Murali Kumar, Principal Commissioner, Income Tax, Hyderabad, Dr A Vidhya Sagar, former Principal Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh, V.
