Hyderabad, August 29: The Chief Minister, Mr K Rosaiah, has earmarked Saturday to bless bridal couples and attended four marriage functions on the day.
As programmed earlier, in Hyderabad alone, the Chief Minister turned up at three marriage functions of the sons of GHMC Chief Engineer, Mr Jairam Reddy, the CPI (M) leader, Mr Nomula Narasimhaiah and grandson of freedom fighter, Mr Narsa Madhava Rao.
Later, the Chief Minister left for Tirupati to attend the marriage of Tirupati MP, Dr Chinta Mohan’s son there. The Chief Minister would also participate in the launching of developmental programs in Tirupati on Sunday. These arrangements seem to have been made to avoid the expenditure from the own pocket as the government would bear expenditure on official tours.
The Chief Minister will stay at Tirupati on Sunday night.
