Hyderabad, October 31: Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Saturday asserted that the government has aimed to take the state to number one position in the country in the field of construction sector.
He called upon the entrepreneurs to come forward to invest in the state.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the two-day Property Show 2010 exhibition organised by the Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers Association (APREDA) at Hitex, the chief minister said the government would extend full support towards promotion of ‘green building’ concept in real estate sector. Utilisation of water and electricity would come down under the green building concept.
The chief minister later participated in a conference on ‘Green buildings, townships and destination Hyderabad.’
Municipal administration and urban development minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, food and civil supplies minister Jupally Krishna Rao, housing minister Silpa Mohan Reddy, APREDA president Prem Kumar and others were also present.
