Hyderabad, October 30: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah has asked British and Arab businessmen to invest in the State by accessing ”the lowest power tariff”.
A business delegation from the United Kingdom, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Dubai called on the Chief Minister at Secretariat here yesterday.
They evinced keen interest to invest in Andhra Pradesh in some key sectors. Mr Rosaiah told them that the State had the best investment-friendly industrial policy and lowest power tariff among other things.
”Ours is the best investment destination according to even RBI report. Ours is a pro-active government and we are the leaders in many sectors. Hence we invite investment from all your countries in a win-win situation,”he told the delegation.
The delegation consisted of Mr Robert Lawrence of the U K, Mr Mohamed Hageb, Mr. Mohamed Yousri, Qasim Sherafi and M V Bhushanam of Abudhabi, Mr Saleh Al Esai of Saudi Arabia and Mohan Murali of Dubai.
