Hyderabad, October 13: Calling Chief Minister Konijeti Rosaiah one of the `most successful’ Chief Ministers in the country, senior Congress leader and MLA P Shanker Rao today asserted that all the Congressmen in Andhra Pradesh would abide by the decision taken by the party high command on the State leadership issue. Even YSR’s son and Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy had stated that he would abide by high command’s decision, he noted.
Addressing mediapersons at the Congress Legislature Party office here, the Secunderabad Cantonment MLA, in reply to a query, said that he did not know about the `awareness’ of his party colleague Jayasudha who represents the neighbouring Secunderabad Assembly constituency, on the Nehru-Gandhi family and their sacrifice for the country.
Jayasudha, who had claimed that she became the MLA with the blessings of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, may be not aware that the Congress high command was responsible for selection of party candidates.
