Ronaldo: Man United doesn’t miss me

London, April 18: Real Madrid Portuguese international winger Cristiano Ronaldo has said he does not believe his former club Manchester United is missing him.

“Manchester United are a fantastic club and I won many things there,” Ronaldo told Sky Sports News on Saturday. “But now I play for Real Madrid, the best club in the world, and I want to win just like I did in Manchester.”

“I am really happy to be here. And without me, Manchester United are doing very good things,” he went on to say. “They won the Carling Cup and they are fighting for the league.”

“Bayern Munich knocked them out of the Champions League but I think they deserved to reach the semi-finals,” he explained. “But that is football and these things happen but I wish Manchester United the best of luck.”

The 25-year-old Portuguese soccer star further pointed out that the English club was still in his heart.

Ronaldo moved to the Bernabeu last summer after six seasons with the Red Devils at Old Trafford.
