Telugu Desam Party came down heavily on the State Government for increasing the registration fees of various categories in the State.
Talking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan on Friday, senior TDP leaders T Devendar Goud and P Chandrashekhar criticised the State Government for ‘increasing’ the financial burden on the people of the State by enhancing the registration fee of Land, Society and Marriages. They described the present government as more ruthless than the “Aurangzeb’s rule” and suggested that it should mobilize the revenues by increasing the royalty on tax in the mining sector instead of resorting to enhance registration fees by putting the people into hardship.
In Telugu Desam rule, they said, the debt burden on the government was up to Rs. 57,000 crore but today it has reached crossed Rs 1.60 lakh crore. The TDP leaders demanded that the government revoke his decision to protect the interest of the people in State. (INN)
