Telangana Press Academy chairman Allam Narayana has observed that the online media also played a pivotal role along with social and print media in the separate Telangana movement.
Allam Narayana hailed the contribution of the online media in the Telangana movement when representatives Online Journalists Union met him and submitted a memorandum pleading with him to see that accreditation cards are sanctioned to them.
Speaking on the occasion, Narayana said media accreditation cards would be given as per the nature of the work of the media employees. The Press Academy chairman also said the future belongs to the online media only. He assured them that he would take the problems of social and online journalists to the notice of the Chief Minister.
Telangana Online Journalists Union president Kasu Pratap Reddy, secretary Sridhar Dharmasanam, senior journalist Suman Paramji, union vice-president Raj Kumar and others were present. (NSS)
