Rohit Tiwari: Un-natural death’ reveals report, cops suspect murdered using Pillow

New Delhi: Rohit Skehar Tiwari was probably smothered to death said cops after his post-mortem report revealed ‘un-natural’ death.

Rohit Shekhar Tiwari (40) shot to limelight after he took a legal battle against his father former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Congress stalwart ND Tiwari.

Earlier he was said to have died due to a cardiac arrest on Wednesday.

Rohit’s case has now been transferred to the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police.

The Crime Branch sleuths and a forensics team visited Rohit Tiwari’s house yesterday and questioned his family members and domestic help while his wife Apoorva is currently not in Delhi.

According to sources, two of the seven CCTV cameras were not working in Defence colony when Rohit was probably murdered.

Rohit had recently gone to Uttarakhand to vote on April 12 and returned on the night of April 15.

CCTV footage shows him taking the support of the wall while walking in an inebriated state.

The very next Rohit’s mother Ujjwala Tiwari receives a call regarding his health and bleeding nose. She rushed to Rohit’s house with an ambulance of Max Hospital where she was waiting for her treatment.

Rohit’s wife, his cousin Siddharth and domestic help were present at the home when the call to his mother was made said sources.

A senior police official had on Wednesday said Rohit Shekhar Tiwari was declared brought dead at Max Hospital, adding no external injuries were seen on his body.

Rohit Shekhar Tiwari had fought a six-year-long battle in court to prove that he was ND Tiwari’s son.
