Rohingya Muslims struggling for rehabilitation in Hyderabad

In the name of religion, caste and race, no one is allowed to carry on genocide and this law of the jungle is not existed anywhere in the world than why Myanmar? It is the duty of Human rights commission to prevent such incidents.

Rohingiya Muslims who have migrated to various Indian cities. To rehabilitate the Burmese Muslims especially in the sector of education and medical aid.

However, Burma is a place where the activities of Human rights commission have created a big question mark, as it is not praiseworthy of late. He lauded the democratic fabric of India where any migrant is not only allowed to live but also standardize his living style.

 

Many Burmese are in Hyderabad and efforts are going for their rehabilitation. It is high time that the people of the city come forward to help them in all possible manners.

As per the details, 42 Burmese families comprised of 182 members are living in Hyderabad. Out of these, eight persons are totally alone including a boy.

A documentary film was also screened where the atrocities on Burmese people was shown. A Burmese youth Noor Kamal whose both hands are chopped off, started weeping while narrating the hair-raising stories of the mental and physical abuse.

It is also to be noted that all migrants are in the age group of less than 30 years and at present, the health is the biggest issue being faced by them. Out of these refugees, 26 husbands and 24 wives are there with 8 kids.

 

In the meantime, efforts are also on to donate rickshaws, bandi for vegetables to the male members of the refugees to earn their livelihood.

A delegation from Siasat Daily had visited the refugee camp at Shaheen Nagar led by Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, editor Siasat and Mr. Iftekhar, interacted with all 42 families.

 

A programme of distribution of food grains among the refugees will be conducted on Tuesday, July 2, 2013.
