North Zone Task Force Team Hyderabad acted in time and apprehended three persons Thangerapally Naveen Chary (22) an Gold Smith Resident of Amberpet, Hyderabad, Bijjaram Sai Krishna (20) an student Resident of Jiyaguda, Hyderabad, Vindar Pandurang (20) an Student Resident of Jiyaguda, Hyderabad foiled robbery conspiracy and seized one knife , one knuckle duster, red chilly powder, one passion pro motor cycle and three cell phones from the possession of accused, near Osmania General Hospital Afzalgunj of Hyderabad.
The accused Naveen chary is residing at Turab Nagar, Amberpet, Hyderabad He studied upto 8th class and working as a Gold smith in his brother-in-law’s shop, situated at Gowliguda, Hyderabad. He gave hand loan of Rs. 4.50 lakhs to one of his known person on 10% interest, but the said person neither gave interest nor return principle amount. Actually the accused Naveen chary brought 4.50 lakhs per interest of Rs. 3% from his friends, but could not return the same to his friends as he too did not received any money from the person to whom he has lent money on 10% interest. Naveen chary failed to get back his money with 10% interest even after trying all methods.
Naveen chary hatched a plan of committing an armed Robbery from one of his known Jewelry businessman by name Rajesh R/o. Habsiguda, Hyderabad who is running a Jewelry shop styled as “Radha Krishna jewelry” situated at Street No.8, Habsiguda. Rajesh is in the habit of carrying 25 to 30 tulas gold and Cash in his handbag on his business transaction every day. The accused Naveen Chary explained his plan to one of his distant relative by name Sai Krishna and (Saikrishna’s friend) Vindar Pandurang, Hyderabad to execute his plan. Naveen Chary promised to pay an amount of Rs. 25,000 to each for execution of his plan. When both of them agreed Naveen Chary paid Rs. 2,000 an advance both of them and remaining of money will be paid after completion of task.
For executing the Robbery they have procured one Knife (to threaten Rajesh and others and to cause injury to Rajesh & others in the event of obstruction to their plan), Mirchi powder (to throw into the eyes of Rajesh), black sketch pen ( to alter the Registration number of the two wheeler) on which they have planned to execute Robbery), Knuckle duster ( to cause injury to Rajesh & others in the event of obstruction to their plan) . Naveen Chary gave his passion pro Motor cycle to Sai Krishna for execution of his plan In furtherance of their plan, Naveen Chary has forwarded a video footage of Rajesh to Sai Krishna through “Whats app”.
Further Naveen chary also took both of them to Habsiguda and shown the Radha Krishna jewelry shop and also Rajesh three days back. They have also observed the movements of Rajesh and were waiting for an opportunity.
On thursday the above accused came prepared with one motor cycle, one knife, one Knuckle duster, Red chilly powder, black sketch pen and all the three accused were passing beside Royal Sea hotel, OGH, Afzalgunj, Hyderabad towards Habsiguda with an intention to commit Robbery by snatching the bag containing the gold and cash from Rajesh at Habsiguda.
On credible information North Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad acted in time and apprehended them and foiled their Robbery conspiracy.
The accused along with seized property being handed over to Afzalgunj police station for taking further action.
