Lagadapati’s Pepper Spray episode in the Lok Sabha when Telangana bill was tabled in the Parliament grabbed the attention of not only public but also robbers. In an incident that occurred at Alwal on Saturday, a thief named Bhaskar Sharma hailing from Vijayawada the same constituency that was represented by Lagadapati, used pepper spray to rob a housewife of her gold chain and locket.
According to the details, the accused Bhaskar Sharma knocked a house and when the lady of the house appeared, introduced himself as a friend of her husband. Talking upon the phone he acted as if he was speaking to the lady’s husband and her husband had asked him to wait at his residence.
Convinced by the conversation, the lady offered him to wait for her husband. Later, after sometime, when the woman tried to call her husband, the man protested and used pepper spray and managed to snatch locket and chain from her neck.
