New Delhi, Nov 26 : Olympic Silver Medallist Sushil Kumar has insisted that his participation in television reality show ‘MTV Roadies’ is not going to affect his preparations for the Rio Olympics.
The 32-year-old wrestler says that nothing can come in between his duties for his country.
“When I spoke to the team of Roadies, I just said one thing to them that my priority will remain the nation and I would like to thank them that they have been giving me time for my training. Sports reporters have been asking me a lot about my training but I assure there will be no leniency from either my end or from the Roadies end for the Rio preparations,” said Sushil Kumar during the press meet of MTV Roadies.
The India’s sporting marvel will be seen judging and mentoring a team of four members in MTV Roadies X4, along with Rannvijay Singh, Neha Dhupia and Karan Kundra.
The MTV Roadies X4 auditions has travelled to Pune and Delhi so far and is all set to go Chandigarh and Lucknow on November 30 and December 8 respectively. (ANI)
