A 29-year-old man died on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a lorry near Alwal crossroads.
The accident occurred on Monday night. The deceased was later identified as Md Ali Shareef, a driver and resident of Karkhana in Secunderabad. The pillion rider, Nazia, was also injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital, according to Alwal police.
In another case, 38-year-old M Balakrishna of Nanakramguda succumbed to the injuries which he sustained when the motorcycle he was riding skidded near Taramati Baradari on Monday night. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Tuesday morning, according to Golconda police. (INN)
