Road accidents death toll, who is responsible?

Road accidents account for a large number of deaths and injuries each year. As per the survey atleast 6 road accidents occur daily in the Hyderabad and its outskirts. As many as 180 people die in road accidents in a month. 90 percent of them are youth aged between 18-20 years. There have been 2206 road deaths this year upto November 2013.

Two days ago a young man with his friend was seen riding the bike with horrible high speed. Just two minutes after this the youth were found lying on the road after they met with an accident. 22 year old Raju died on the spot while his friend 23 year old Mahipal is struggling for life in hospital. Raju was not even wearing the helmet had he worn helmet the casualty might not have been fatal.

Today every parent buys motor cycles for their young children. But sadly the college going boys ride bicycles recklessly. After getting the bikes they lose control over themselves although they know that it would not take more than a second for the accident to occur.

Keeping in view the rising incidents of road accidents it would be wise on parents’ part not to buy bikes for their children instead send them to college through their college bus.
