A 21-year-old youth died on the spot after he got crushed by a RTC bus in Kukatpally police limits.
The victim, Amranjan Reddy, slipped and got crushed under the rear tyre of an RTC which he tried to catch near Kukatpally bus stop no Saturday night. He was a native of Vijayawada and was staying in Kukatpally to undergo ECET coaching.
In another case, 25-year-old Chandrashekar died of injuries which he sustained on March 5 after he was hit by a car while crossing the road near Ramanthapur in Uppal police limits. He was admitted to a private hospital where he succumbed on Sunday morning. He was an employee of a private firm and resident of LB Nagar.
In another accident, V Gayathri, 39, died on the spot and her husband Parmeshwar Kumar sustained injuries when the bike they were travelling on was hit by a private tourist bus near KPHB Petrol Pump on Saturday night. Kumar has been admitted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. They were residents of MIT KPHB. (INN)
