A 21-year-old youth died on the spot while his mother sustained injuries when the motorcycle they were travelling on was hit by an unidentified bike.
The accident occurred near KPHB on Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Md Alam Khan, a Mauzan in KPHB Mosque. His mother is undergoing treatment and is said to be out of danger.
In another case, an unidentified cyclist of about 40 years died on the spot after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle on Tukkuguda Road on Tuesday night. Pahadishareef police have preserved the body at Osmania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem and identification.
In a separate case, an unidentified man, of about 50 years, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained after he was hit by a RTC bus near Budvel Bus Stop on May 15. He was admitted to the OGH where he died last night.
In a different case, an unidentified man died of injuries which he sustained on May 16 after he was hit by a car near Bongluru Gate in Adibatla police limits. He died at the CGHS Hospital at Ibrahimpatnam on Tuesday night while undergoing treatment. He was aged about 30 years. His body has been preserved at the OGH mortuary for identification.
In the last case, P Hari Omkar, 33, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained when the motorcycle he was riding skidded near Surya Enclave in Tirumulgherry police limits. He met with the accident on May 7 and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Tuesday night. He was a government employee and resident of Balanagar. (INN)
