Andhra Pradesh DGP Sambasiva Rao denied the allegations that top Maoist leader RK was under the police custody.He said that the police is not aware of RK’s whereabouts.
Speaking to media persons, Sambasiva Rao said that RK was not under the police custody and assured to give him medical aid if he was found injured. He said that the police would not harm him and assured him of his safety. He also denied the allegations that the encounter was fake.
Meanwhile, Virasam leader Varavara Rao alleged that the TDP Government was pursuing its ‘Operation RK’ as part of its understanding with the mining companies. He alleged that the AP government was coming up with cooked stories to conceal truth that it was involved in the killings of Maoist leaders earlier this week on Andhra Odisha Border. (INN)
