RJD submits adjournment motion notice over Lalu Yadav’s security downgrade

New Delhi [India]: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Tuesday submitted an adjournment motion notice in the Lok Sabha over party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s security downgrade.

The notice has been submitted by RJD MP JP Yadav.

The Centre last month scaled down the Z-Plus security of Lalu Prasad and withdrew the National Security Guards (NSG) cover from his protection.

The Centre reportedly thinned down the security after the home ministry reviewed the security of the VIPs.

However, more than 30 personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will still provide a shield to the RJD supremo.

Reacting to this, Lalu Yadav had earlier said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not scare him by downgrading his security cover.

Lalu Yadav’s son and former Bihar cabinet minister, Tej Pratap Yadav, had also threatened to skin Prime Minister Modi, if any harm was done to his father. (ANI)
