New Delhi, August 16: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) on Monday in a Joint press conference in New Delhi announced the seat-sharing arrangement for the assembly elections in Bihar in October.
As per the deal, LJP would contest for 75 seats and RJD would be contesting for 168 seats out of the states 243 assembly seats.
Both the leaders, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan were present at the press conference.
Lalu said that both the parties would cooperate with each other to ensure a successful deal.
