Ranchi, Nov 13: RJD candidate from Maneka constituency in the poll-bound Jharkhand Ramchandra Singh and his aide were tonight kidnapped by suspected naxalites in Latehar”s Dhanukua village. “I spoke to Latehar SP who said some persons took him away at Dhanukua village.
And there is also information that they have been let off. The police are trying to establish contact with him,” Inspector General of Police Rezi Dung Dung said.
Singh along with his supporters was returning home after participating in a function when suspected naxalites picked them up, he said. Singh represented Maneka constituency in the dissolved state assembly and has been re-nominated from the seat for the forthcoming assembly polls in the state.
