The risk of miscarriage increases if exposed to polluted air for a week: study

Air pollution is an issue bothering residents of many cities all around the world and it threatens several serious health results. There are various studies which predict more deaths and illnesses caused by rising pollution even after authorities trying to improve the air quality.

According to the research, a week of bad air quality can lead to a 16 per cent rise in risk of having a miscarriage. The latest findings of a research have warned that exposure to polluted air can increase the chances of miscarriage in women.

Due to the damage done by air pollution, people are losing as many as eight years of their lives. Living in polluted areas may cause women to lose their pregnancies altogether.
