The spate of communal violence in the city during the past few days is the handiwork of a handful of elements who are indulged in communal politics. But general public has nothing to do with it. We can witness incidents of Hindu Muslim friendship, humanity and fraternity even today.
Tension prevailed in Charminar and old city after Friday prayers. School and college students returned to their houses amidst tense situation. Hindu Muslim boys and girls were seen helping their friends to get back to their homes. In the above picture you can see a Hindu girl taking her Muslim friend back home on the Activa. It should not come as a surprise as the Hyderabad city is a vibrant historic city rich with Ganges-Yamuna culture and religious tolerance and bother hood.
