The young India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was chirping the Australian batsmen on Day 2 of the ongoing first Test at Adelaide Oval.
Rishab Pant in the 30th over of the Australian innings was heard saying: “Not everyone is Pujara here, lads” who was trying to strengthen after Australia lost early wickets on the Day 2 of the first test match.
He was referring to Cheteshwar Pujara’s solid knock of 123 out of 246-balls to take India to 250 after they were reeling at 127 for 6 at one point in their first innings.
Eventually, Usman Khawaja fell to Ashwin, he got one ball to drift and hurling it around off. Khawaja committed himself on the front foot and leaned forward to defend. But the ball spun away a bit to beat the outside edge of his bat.
The Umpire Kumar Dharmasena was not convinced and gave it a not out decision but Virat Kohli went for the DRS. The Hot Spot detected a tiny spot on Khawaja’s gloves following which the decision was overruled.
