Hyderabad: Due to increase in number of mosquitoes, increase of malaria and dengue cases has been witnessed in Hyderabad. Residents of twin cities are affected with dengue and malaria and their number is rising day by day. This was told by superintendent of Govt. fever hospital, Dr K Shankar. Number of cases in government and private hospitals has shown an alarming in the past few weeks.
He advised the people to use mosquito repellant and to take precaution to avoid getting infected with such virus. 4 to 5 have been tested positive with the mosquito-borne virus during the past one month. Symptoms include high fever.
The rise in fever cases is attributed to increase in number of mosquitoes due to variation in temperature.
