Friday passed off peacefully in the city. Police had made elaborate arrangements to deal with any unforeseen incident on the occasion of Friday prayer but just before Friday prayer the sounds of ringing bells created unrest.
Bells continued to ring for about 30 to 40 minutes in Bhagyalaxmi Temple in the eastern corner of Charminar. Police officials got pooja stopped before the commencement of Friday prayer. Just after finishing Friday prayers in Makkah Masjid many persons gathered at Chilla Mubarak and offered Salam. Police had put barricades on sensitive roads. Rapid Action Force and battalions of AP Special Police were also commissioned.
Tit for tat its a hide a seek game being played by the communal elements from both sides.it looks as if they dont want peace in Hyderabad City.
Never in the history of Hyderabad that bell ringing specially on friday just before namaz occured and now Muslim got an opportunity to offer Salam .
Additional Commissioner of City police Mr. Ameet Garg and Intelligence officers were reviewing the situation. It is reported that due to announcement of Arthi programme by Hindu Activists organizations police had become alert. Unknown persons were seen in Nizamia Unani General Hospital area and near Makkah Masjid. They were recording videography of those coming to Makkah Masjid. Immediately after the Friday prayers. Police sent back people and at around 3 pm everything became peaceful.
