Mumbai, July 18: Last Friday’s Pankaj Advani directed SANKAT CITY seems to have done the trick and managed to achieve the magical double of impressing the critics as well as the audience. The biggest proof of that is that in most of the cases prints are removed in the second week, in the wake of newer releases, but here we have a rare case where the exhibitors have added additional prints of SANKAT CITY in the two major circuits of Bombay and Delhi-U.P.

To know the reaction of the only heroine of SANKAT CITY (in the midst of 21 actors!), we talked to Rimi Sen, the ‘Mona’ of SANKAT CITY, and asked her if she had put in any special efforts for this sterling performance. She surprised us with her reply – ”No special efforts. In real life I am very much like Mona and always speak the truth. I even set the people right who try to rub me the wrong way.” Reacting to the appreciation that SANKAT CITY is drawing Rimi expressed her happiness and disclosed that SANKAT CITY was one of the two favourite films of her career, the other being JOHNNY GADDAAR.
