Mumbai, January 09: Mukesh led Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) today expressed shock and outrage over the allegations by a Telugu news channel alleging foul play by the Ambanis in the death of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and dismissed the accusation.
In a statement issued by RIL’s spokesperson, the company said that the news was false, malicious, motivated and libelous by TV5 channel concerning the fatal mishap of Rajasekhara Reddy’s helicopter.
“We are shocked and outraged,’’ the statement said, further adding, “We condemn, rebut and reject the allegation with the contempt it deserves. It is the dirty handiwork of our business rivals in cohoots with TV5. This is also evident from the well coordinated attacks on RILestablishments”.
