Rijiju to review border situation, law and order on visit to Arunachal Pradesh

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju will visit Arunachal Pradesh from July 4 to 7 to review the border area development programme, police modernization and law and order situation in the north east. An official statement said that Rijiju will meet Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tukiand senior officials of the Arunachal Pradesh Government, besides officials of the Border Roads Organization (BRO), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Ministry of Home Affairs. The minister will also meet with the officials of armed forces, central armed police forces, Eastern Air Command, BRO and BSNL. He will be accompanied by S.K. Mishra, Joint Secretary (Border Management) and Shambu Singh, Joint Secretary (North East). (ANI)
