London : With ‘Star Trek Beyond’s new trailer, came Rihanna’s new single from the film’s soundtrack, titled ‘ Sledgehammer’ and it is mind blowing.
Co-written by Sia, the 28-year-old singer’s latest track is an intense emotional ballad that hears her roar “you’re just another brick and I’m a sledgehammer” in a soaring chorus, the Independent reported.
The ‘Work’ hit-maker first hinted at the song after tweeting the lyrics in 2014, before posting a photo of her covered in sci-fi face paint on her Instagram at the weekend.
‘ Star Trek Beyond,’ starring Idris Elba, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg and the late Anton Yelchin, is all set to hit the UK cinemas on 22 July. (ANI)
