Rihanna asked to cover up for Abu Dhabi show

London, Dec 29: R&B star Rihanna has been asked to dress conservatively for her performance on New Years Eve in Abu Dhabi. The ”Disturbia” star, who has been performing in raunchy outfits all through Christmas in Barbados, will have to cover up while performing in the desert city, reported.

The singer”s team is now working frantically to make new outfits which are respectful of local traditions, as her old collection will be of no use. “Rihanna is tearing her hair out over what to do — she wanted to put on her most eccentric and provocative show yet.

She knows that she”ll have to compromise her style to fit in with local traditions — but a huge part of her show is her sexy stage gear. The dress code in Abu Dhabi does not encourage excessively revealing outfits,” said a source.

Show organisers are worried about possible wardrobe choices but they trust it will be handled tastefully. The 21-year-old singer is reportedly being paid a whopping USD 500,000 for her performance and will have to conform to the local conventions.
