Vadodara, February 08: Union Law Minister M Veerappa Moily today said his ministry was contemplating introduction of ‘Right to Justice’ bill in the Parliament this year.
“This bill will take care of economic, social and political justice,” he said, adding the bill will be introduced in the next five-six months.
Moily had been invited by Sadbhavna Trust here to give a lecture.
The law minister said, “Government is serious on electoral reforms… seven regional rounds of discussion are being held. The next round will be held in Guwahati on February 13 (to discuss about the issue)”.
He said the government was focused on decreasing the pendency of cases in courts and was very keen on “fast-tracking” cases related to corruption.
