Hyderabad, May 28: Rich tributes were paid to the services of architect of modern India and Bharat Ratan, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru on his 47th death anniversary. Pandit Nehru’s statue at Abid’s X-road was garlanded.
Pradesh Congress president, Mr. D Srinivas, Marketing Minister Mr. M Mukesh Goud, Labour Minister Mr. Danam Nagendar, corporator Gunfoundry Mr. Madhu Gaud, general secretary Pradesh Congress Mr. G Niranjan paid tributes to the first prime minister of India.
Mr. Mukesh on the occasion said ‘Pandit Nehru laid the foundation of modern India because of which the country achieved remarkable development in various fields. He regarded children as the architect of future hence his birth anniversary is celebrated as children’s day.’
