The RGI Airport Custom Officials at Shamshabad Airport has seized 6.5 Kgs of Gold from two passengers.
Based on intelligent profiling, the officers of Customs Air Intelligence, RGIA, Hyderabad, on April 1, 2014 intercepted passengers by names Zubair and Osman hails from Hyderabad who was arrived to RGIA, Shamshabad from Bangkok.
On questioning by the officers, about possession of any dutiable /prohibited goods, the passenger denied and replied in negative. However, after detailed examination, the officers recovered 6.5 Kgs of Gold from the passengers. The passenger was interrogated and he admitted the offence. Further follow-up investigation is going on. (INN)
