Revolt against valentines: Love isn’t 1 day affair

New Delhi : Valentine’s Day and controversies go hand in hand and even this year, there are people revolting against it.

Durga Vahini, a Bajrang Dal activist in Hyderabad recently said, “Love shouldn’t be for one day, don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day.”

Meanwhile, another activist said that Valentine’s Day doesn’t belong to India nor it is Indian culture, adding that it will only destroy the Indian culture.

The protestors were even seen burning papers and gift cards.

The month of February, which is called the season of love, often ends up with protest and revolts that mostly take place around youth centric areas. (ANI)
