Revival of AP Rayons Factory: Kadiam seeks Naidu’s help

Seeking cooperation for reopening of AP Rayons Company in Warangal, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, along with district leaders, today called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat here and urged Naidu to supply Eucalyptus wood pulp and raw material at 50 per cent subsidy.
The supply of wood pulp will help Telangana to restart the AP Rayons Company, which remains closed for a few years. However, Naidu is said to have reluctant to offer immediate help to Telangana State. “As Andhra Pradesh State is facing severe financial constraints, we will think and inform our decision”, Naidu told Srihari.
Speaking to the media later, Srihari said Chandrababu Naidu responded to their plea in an affable manner. The meeting of Srihari with Naidu assumes significance as the Telangana Government was seriously considering reopening the AP Rayons Factory. (NSS)
