Revival of direct cash scheme for cooking gas, a joke on public

BJP had made fun of the Aadhaar card and scheme for direct cash subsidy on cooking gas before the general elections. But now it seems that BJP has felt the importance of Aadhaar Card hence it is forced to link all schemes to Aadhaar card.

Once again people have to pay Rs. 960 for cooking gas cylinder. Again the subsidy will be transferred directly to consumers’ bank accounts. The amount of subsidy which is Rs. 486 will be deposited in the bank accounts of the consumers, as soon as they make the first booking for a cylinder.

People are very much confused over the situation. A housewife residing at Vattepally says angrily ‘Modi government is playing joke on public, once BJP had opposed Aadhaar card and direct cash scheme and now it is implementing the same.

Collecting subsidy amount from the public then again depositing it into banks is nothing but waste of time and stupidity.
