Various Teachers’ organization demanded the C.M., School Education Minister and Secretary, Dept of Minorities Welfare to take immediate steps for rescheduling the school timings from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as per the previous practice.
Mr. Anwarul Baqui, President , M.A. Nayeem, General Secretary, Mohd Abdul Aleem and Mr. Mohd Farooq presented the memorandum to Commissioner of School Education. They also met Education Minister and Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare. They told that Commissioner of School Education has refused to change the timings of the school. These Union leaders protested against the attitude of Director of School Education for change in the timings. If the Govt. does not consider this issue and take necessary steps, it will be presume that State Govt. is taking anti-Muslim attitude.
