Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took a decision to enhance the pay of TS power employees. Employees of Genco, Transco and Discoms employees will get a revised pay scale with 30 per cent fitment.
Employees who have completed 15 years of service will get three increments and those with below 15 years service will get two increments. The revised scales and increments will be applicable to all the employees.
As of now, 26,894 employees are working in TSGenco, Transco and Discoms and the government is currently paying Rs 1,233 crore towards their salaries. The government was paying another Rs 583 crore for 19,292 pensioners.
