Reversion to Islam proved a sweet deal for Abdur Raheem Jalebi maker

Abdur Raheem Jalebi maker after embracing Islam worked hard with honesty and stepped forward from a footpath vendor to a successful businessman. 50-year-old Abdur Raheem reverted to Islam 30 years ago by adhering to the hard-work and honesty he has progressed so much that he has become a role model for others. Mohammed Abdur Raheem has being doing Jalebi business for the past 26 years on the footpath of Masjid Hakeem Mir Vazir Ali at Chandulal Baradari. Speaking to Siasat correspondent he said a great revolution came into his life after coming into the folds of Islam.

He says when I became Mohammed Abdur Raheem from Sadashiv not only that I was saved from the loss of Hereafter but because of the blessing of Islam my life changed. The jalebi business runs from 5 to 11 pm. Apart from that he sells Idli dosa during morning hours. His business flourished and now he is the proud owner of a Tiffin centre and raking in money.
