President of YSR Congress Party, Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that CBI has turned into Congress Bureau of Investigation. Congress and TDP are transpiring to close down Sakshi TV and Newspaper by match fixing with each other. A particular section of media has also been transformed into a syndicate and it is trying to spread misleading propaganda. Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy was participating in Anantapur Assembly constituency election campaign. A large number of people welcomed him. Addressing the Road Show, he said that the bank accounts of Sakshi TV and Newspaper have been frozen to take revenge.
The strange thing is while investigating the investments, bank accounts have been frozen. He said that he has been cooperating with the investigating agencies for the past nine months. Despite his cooperation, he is being harassed. His media men are being dislodged from service so that the realities should not reach the people.
In this conspiracy, Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi and TV9 are equally involved. Govt. in connivance with these media persons want to suppress the facts. These newspapers want that no other newspaper should flourish.
Whatever they write, people should believe them to be true. Congress and TDP have failed to contest me in the political field and now they are trying to curb the freedom of the press. He questioned. What is the fault of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy? It is wrong to benefit the Poor? Is it wrong step to establish a network of industries in the State? Why isn’t CBI investigating the lands given to corporate sector during Mr. Chandrababu Naidu’s period? He said CBI is working at the instance of Govt. of India. He expressed confidence that he would get justice.
