Telangana TDP working president A. Revanth Reddy today urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to name the Shamshabad International Airport after NTR in recognition to his selfless services to the Telugu people.
In a letter addressed to KCR, Revanth Reddy appreciated the Chief Minister for eulogizing NTR’s services to the people at a function organsied on the occasion of completion of 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna. KCR also allayed rumors that the name of name NTR ghat would not be disturbed.
Revanth Reddy said NTR always worked for welfare of Telugu speaking people. It was NTR, who had scrapped age-old Patwari system in the State and introduced Rs two per kg rice besides constructing houses for the downtrodden and poor people. (NSS)
