Revanth terms it as “pro-capitalist budget”

Reacting on the Telangana budget, Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy termed it as Capitalists Budget.

Talking to the media on the Assembly premises, Revanth Reddy said the State government has not given due concentration to protect interests of the farmers. Only Rs 4,000 crore has been earmarked to waive off loans of farmers while there was need of Rs 11,000 crore for the purpose. He also demanded waiving of loans of the farmers at one time.

Referring to allocation of funds for fee reimbursement to students, the TDP leader deplored that the government has merely allocated Rs 1900 crore as against the needed which Rs 4300 crore. Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who were suspended by the Speaker for the rest of the session the other day, stood in hot sun before the Assembly building and staged protest. Though another TTDP MLA R Krishnaiah was not suspended from the House, he did not enter the Assembly and remained in the TDLP office in solidarity with the suspended MLAs.
