Suspecting that Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao has links with drugs smuggling racket in the capital city, controversial TTDP legislator from Kodangal Anumula Revanth Reddy demanded that the government cause an inquiry by ED.
Speaking to mediapersons in the Assembly lobbies on the first day of the winter session of the Assembly today, Revanth Reddy said when he tabled a question on the drug mafia issue in the House, the government ordered adjournment of the House before taking up his query. Alleging that KTR’s brother-in-law Raj Pakala has close connections with the drug mafia, Revanth demanded an inquiry by the ED and dared the government to register a case against him.
Revanth Reddy also disclosed that he had written to the Chief Justice of India on the drug issue. (NSS)
