TDP Telangana working president A Revanth Reddy has urged the State government to release water from Nagarjunsagar left canal to help farmers whose crops are getting dry due to non-availability of water.
In a letter written to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today, Revanth Reddy said the government should release at least 3 tmc of water immediately to help farmers as their condition is pathetic in Miryalguda, Huzurabad, Kodad and Nagarjunsagar constituencies in Nalgonda district. The government should release water from Nagarjunasagar left canal to save the crops and also to meet the drinking water problems, he added.
