Revanth says Malkajgiri constituents want him in Parliament to raise their woes

Hyderabad: Congress candidate from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency A Revanth Reddy today said his constituents feel that he would raise his voice in Parliament about the problems being faced by the people of Malkajgiri and work hard to solve them at the earliest.

Hitting out his TRS rival Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, Revanth alleged that his rival had a lot of businesses, including colleges and he would not get time to focus on finding solutions to people’s problems. He also said a business man like Rajasekhar Reddy would never think of public service. Targeting BJP candidate N Ramchender Rao, Revanth Reddy said the former need not contest the elections but he could fight to solve public problems as an MLC.

Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had been talking about building a new Secretariat in Cantonment area, the Congress candidate wondered as to what the Chief Minister would do with the Secretariat as he never visits Secretariat even for five times in a five year term. He also said that KCR had said that the present Secretariat, which catered to the needs of 23 districts in the undivided Andhra Pradesh was not enough to serve the districts of Telangana State. He said neither Chief Minister KCR nor former MP Ch Malla Reddy did nothing to solve the problems of the people of Malkajgiri.
