Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy today alleged that the TRS government was totally neglecting families of farmers, who resorted to suicides under unbearable conditions.
Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan here on Tuesday, the TDP leader said power cuts have come down because of less power consumption and not due to efficiency of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He lamented that the Telangana Chief Minister has been leveling allegations that his AP counterpart was not supplying power to his State. But the Telangana government has written a letter to AP government stating that it is not willing to purchase power from Krishnapatnam plant.
Alleging that KCR was not fulfilling his election-eve promises, the TDP MLA said the former was feeling insecure due to rising popularity of TDP and the claim of TRS leaders that 10 lakh people turned up at Sunday’s TRS Foundation Day celebrations was totally false.
Claiming that TDP meeting at Mahbubnagar was a grand success, Revanth Reddy said the comment of KCR against the TDP meeting was an affront to people of Mahbubnagar district. He wanted to know whether the TRS government had no time to remember sacrifices of 1,200 persons for the cause of Telangana State. (NSS)
