Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy has ridiculed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s comment that he was striving to protect democratic values in the Assembly.
Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan here, Revanth Reddy said KCR, who undemocratically suspended members of Opposition party in the Assembly, was now preaching sermons about democratic values like the devil quoting scriptures. Questioning the comment of KCR, the TDP leader asked how the Chief Minister can talk about the values when he gave berths in his cabinet to the members of other party who were elected on the ticket of TDP and continuing in TRS.
The High Court also reprimanded TRS government for taking illegal decisions right from FAST to appointment of parliamentary secretaries, he pointed out. He also alleged that KCR was taking decision against the very spirit of the Constitution. (NSS)
