Revanth resents double talk of BJP leaders on KCR

Alleging that BJP leaders were adopting double speak on ruling TRS in Telangana State, TDP Telangana working president A Revanth Reddy today said while State BJP leaders are criticizing functioning of the TRS government, its Union ministers and other leaders whoever comes here appreciate work of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking to media after meeting Cheruku Sudhakar in Yasodha hospital, he said State BJP leaders have been highlighting the failures of Chief Minister KCR and his functioning while Bihar deputy chief minister  Sushul Kumar Shinde appreciated him and termed him as “Apara Bhagiratha” for providing drinking water to all households. Shinde had also said the State health and medical wing and  Police were working well”, he pointed out.

How can Bihar deputy chief minister give certificate to KCR when Dalits were attacked and handcuffed in Khammam district and a pregnant woman died due to lack of medical facilities and a police official died due to swine flu, the TDP leader questioned. “The BJP leaders should stop using this type of double speak”, he suggested and made it clear that his party would feel embarrassed in working with the BJP.

Revanth Reddy demanded that the State government celebrate September 17 officially as Telangana Merger Day instead of Liberation Day. (NSS
